Doctors should know about isotretinoin-induced dry eye disease
Dr Adams and our medical student Beyas Basu wrote in the Medical Journal of Australia Insight publication about emerging evidence which suggests isotretinoin could cause permanent changes to the tear film of patients, even after stopping the medication. The discrepancy between research and practice suggests that MG changes in isotretinoin-induced DED are not reversible after treatment cessation. Click to see here.
